Mark your calendars - Annual Potluck

Our annual potluck will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at 10:00am at Fairfax Christian Church on Main Street.  Please join us and invite any friends/colleagues/family members who may be interested in La Leche League.  This is a great opportunity to introduce people to our group in an informal way.  Please bring a healthy dish to share.  Hope to see you there!

NEW! - Sunday Breastfeeding Cafe

We will be having a breastfeeding cafe on the first and third Sundays of the month, starting this Sunday, February 15, from 4:30-6:30pm at the Panera Bread in Old Town Fairfax (3955 Chain Bridge Road). Please drop in for free breastfeeding advice and support from LLL Leaders and other mothers.  Also, please invite friends and family, especially working mothers and others who cannot make our regular Wednesday meetings.  Hope to see you there!

Monthly meeting - February 11

Our monthly series meeting will be held Wednesday, February 11 at 10:00am at Fairfax Christian Church on Main Street.  As always, Leaders will be available for one-on-one help after the meeting.

As a reminder, if schools are delayed or closed, the meeting will be moved to February 18.

Revised bad weather policy

We have adopted a new policy for meeting cancellations due to bad weather:

If Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) have a delayed opening or are closed on the second Wednesday of the month, our meeting will be moved to the third Wednesday instead, at the same time and location. School closings are announced on local radio and television stations, and on the schools' website (www.fcps.edu).  The website also allows you to sign up for text and/or email notifications about delays and closings.

Meeting cancellations will also be posted here on the blog, and on our Facebook page.
